The African Tribe serie found his inspiration from my cultural roots as my Sicilian background. The Njinga Queen horn was the first sovereign around 1600 to oppose the deportation of the people to slavery by the Portuguese , she fight until with the conversion of her people to Christianity.
Angelo Giannaula is a Dutch Ceramist born in Catania Sicily, from his Sicilian origin he is born with a mix of cultures as Greek, Arabic, Normandy,Spanish as wel all the religions and the Mythologies. Sicily is know by the traditional ceramic art and as a self educated artist he developed a mix of these traditions and transformed it into sculptures from out different cultures and legends.
